Okay, so...wow.

Months into this account, and still no submissions. And I have an excuse! Yay!

Basically, I did a ton of lineart these past few months, producing new characters, etc...But I didn't want to submit just lineart because I knew it would be lumped into Scraps, and I didn't have the privacy or the time to produce full works. So, just as I find myself with an assload of free time to draw...

My bicycle breaks. My headphones break. My laptop breaks. And finally, my tablet breaks.

*headdesk*

I guess it had one hell of a good run, that tabby's been through two replacement screens, and has been abused more than any other piece of electronic equipment I own, but...Talk about horrendous timing. Basically, I crushed the USB chord, and because it's hard-wired to the tablet, I would need to buy a replacement part. BUT, Wacom no longer produces that part, because my tablet is a solid 6 years old or so, and they've moved on to the Intuos 4.

On top of this, my version of Photoshop has as equal a chance of freezing and crashing as it does actually -working-, so I have been without a stable drawing program for half a year or so. I already set it so it eats up over 90% of my laptop's User usage, and it still crashes left and right from script errors brought on through digital wear and tear.

So alas, after six years of faithful if infuriating service, I must bid farewell to my beloved Intuos 3...and Photoshop as well. Thanks to my State tax refund, I was able to sink a solid $450 last night into a new Wacom Intuos 4, and a copy of Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2010, which I have heard is fantastic...So, new and complete drawings are on the way! Yey!

In other news...The academic year in college has kicked. My. Ass. I will be lucky to have passed half of my classes, but...That's what I get for taking the two most difficult courses my major has to offer simultaneously. It's okay, my GPA can take the hit just fine...I just wanna pass.

My laptop needs a new battery now, on top of having one quarter of the keys on the right hand side now being totally unusable. The battery was just a piece of crap, apparently...It would lose a charge at 88%...And as for the keys...I kinda spilled some soda >3> Repairs can come later, I just want my federal tax refund so I can get a new battery T.T

*sigh* On the bright side...I am now in a relationship with Asa-pants...But things have been a bit rough lately. S'to be expected, we're both under some stress lately, but...I'm much happier having her, and that's what counts, right? Well, that, and making sure she's happy with -me- >.> *hide*

Right. So, works to be done...

My fantasy world - I am finally ironing out the fantasy world in which all of my characters and ideas take place...I have frequently described the kingdoms, environments, and people of my little fantasy realm, but I've never actually dived so far as to make a comprehensive continental description...So far, I have made very little progress XD *dies* It's gonna be fun, it's just...a really, really daunting task. I also need to solidify all of the races which will be within this world, and I could use some help from my friends with this -- I am going for entirely original races -- no elves or orcs or anything else Tolkein-esque, I just need help culling my good ideas from the bad >3<

Characters - YES I am still making chars D8> Sensen is still alive and kicking (he's still striped and black and white damnit!), and is taking the centerpiece as my fantasy world's "God." I also still have Ryssid, Rissu, Kieru, Haku, Lugen...and a few others, but they are all in need of some serious re-designing, and I will be working on them shortly. I also have some newer characters (Kishu, Hikori, Jask, and a few nameless ones) who will be making some appearances once I finish ironing them out.

Clan - I am bringing this back. Way back when, I used to have a crime syndicate, which I ultimately dissolved because I ran out of ideas...Well, I've been watching way too much television lately, and I want to create a new house or clan, within my fantasy world, to showcase a large chunk of my characters...I don't know how they look yet, or what they will involve, but...we'll see! ^-^ Any ideas here would also be really appreciated~
